A festive family celebration organised with Ukrainian Voices RC, bringing children together for a magical encounter with St. Nicholas, creative activities and an expression of solidarity with children in Ukraine.
Awakening joined Ukrainian Voices RC to create a warm St. Nicholas celebration for children and families in Brussels. The community centre became a festive residence filled with stories, music, creativity and kindness.
Children were invited to meet St. Nicholas and his helpers, recite a poem, sing a song or share their dreams. The programme combined a fairy-tale atmosphere with opportunities for participation and meaningful connection.
A special act of solidarity invited young visitors to write letters to children remaining in Ukraine, sharing warmth and support during the holiday season. Parents could also bring gifts for St. Nicholas to present personally to their children.
